Tips for making the perfect Muggin:

1. Before measuring out muggins mix, shake the bag a bit to insure even distribution of ingredients.

2. Microwave wattage will determine cooking time. For instance, muggins will require about 90 seconds in a 1200W microwave. For microwaves with lower wattage, increase cooking time in 30-second increments until muggins begins pulling away from mug.

3. You'll find detailed cooking instructions on the back of your muggins package. 

Peanut Butter Blondies

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1.5 cups unsweetened plant milk
  • 1 pouch Peanut Butter Blondie Muggins
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2-1 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350. Smash banana in a large bowl. Stir in plant milk. Add muggins mix and baking soda and stir until just mixed. Fold in chocolate chips. Spread mixture into prepared 8x8 pan. Bake 30 minutes or until knife comes out clean.

Love this peanut butter blonde! So yummy and very good for you!

I use a scale to measure the mix and even though my microwave is not high power, 55 seconds is enough. The only down side is that I try to eat it while it is too hot. Also mixing with chocolate cake gives me pb chocolate goodness.

WellBean cofounder, Caroline, also uses a scale to measure out just the right amount of mix. Interesting that your microwave only needs 55 seconds--just goes to show they're all different and it might take a little experimenting to find the right cooking time. :-)

Great for stir ins!

I love to stir in chocolate chips before microwaving! The little chunks of peanuts and added chocolate makes it easy for me to resist the candy my family has in the pantry. Thanks, Welll Bean :)

Peanut Butter Blondies

YUM! Love this. I made the bars (brownies) following the recipe I received with a previous order of Muggins. I also watched the demonstration video on the website. Easy to do. Delicious, too. Even my husband likes these, and he isn't a health food kind of guy.
