What Our Customers Say

Our New Favorite Dessert

We pair this deliciously moist, dense, and chocolate-y Muggins with fresh strawberries
and WOW! My husband has diabetes and I avoid sugar in general, so it's wonderful to
have a treat that seems so decadent but is actually healthy for us.

My Favorite WellBean Bar

I'm a bit of a peanut butter fanatic, and these bars are loaded with the flavor I love but not with any unhealthy junk I don't want to eat. I haven't met a WellBean bar I dislike, to be honest, but the Peanut Butter Crunch is hands-down my favorite of them all.

Chocolatey goodness!

This Muggins cake is the perfect size serving to go with my chocolate Creami. So yummy! I'm getting ready to put in another order. Also going to try some of the bars. Great job!

Delicious bars!

My husband and I love your bean bars. We always take them with us when we’re out running errands or shopping just in case we get a little hungry and don’t have to buy junk food. Please keep making them!

Delicious!

I’m so happy I bought this mix. It is delicious! I added a spoonful of peanut butter on top for extra yum. It definitely satisfied my dessert craving in a healthy way. Please make more flavors! Maybe lemon poppyseed or chocolate orange?

Why Beans?

Lower Your Heart Disease Risk

Several studies have shown that eating beans can
help lower total and LDL cholesterol and other risk
factors for heart disease.

Researchers found a 38% reduced chance of
heart attack with the consumption of only 1/3 cup of beans/day--that's about what you get in one
whole-food WellBean.

Lower Your Cancer Risk

Bean intake has been associated with
a decreased risk of breast, stomach, colorectal,
kidney, and prostate cancers.

Beans contain bioactive compounds--flavonoids,
tannins, phenolic compounds, and other antioxidants
--all of which have been found to decrease risk of
cancer and other chronic diseases.

Lower Your Diabetes Risk

Eating beans has been found to help improve
glucose management via several mechanisms
(e.g., fiber content and satiety).

One study found people consuming a high-legume
diet experienced a significant decrease in HbA1c and
reduced their calculated heart disease risk scores.

About Us

Many years ago (about 35) in an exotic land far, far away (Arkansas) with a young woman (Caroline) in the throes of food addiction.

No matter what she did—psychotherapy, overeaters anonymous, hypnosis, antidepressant medications—she couldn’t kick the
overwhelming urge to binge on bread, cheese, and sweets.
